This Longines wrist watch was given to me by a gentleman from my place of business. He lost interest in it and thought I might like to fiddle with it. The crystal had at some point been replaced and it would loosen in the case when the watch was worn and the case expanded. I located a new crystal and fixed that problem.
This is a classic 40's design, simple and easy to read.
Another shot of the dial.
I fabricated a display back for the case so I could admire the movement, which is a nice looking Longines Cal. 12.68Z sub-seconds manual wind. If you care to read about the making of a display back, click here.
